A MESSAGE FROM HAPPY VALLEY PARENTS CLUB PRESIDENT Jesse Abhyankar

Welcome Huskies!

My name is Jesse Abhyankar, and I’m honored to serve as the President of the Happy Valley Parents Club (HVPC) for the 2025/2026 school year.  Happy Valley Elementary (HVE) is a special place, and my fellow HVPC board members and I are excited to welcome you and to support our amazing Husky community.

The mission of the HVPC is to foster community and provide opportunities that enrich the growth of every child enrolled at Happy Valley Elementary.  We do this through volunteer opportunities, community-wide events, and recognition of our incredible teachers and staff.

If you’re new to the school, check out the Information for New Families and Helpful Links.  

If you’d like to volunteer on campus, please ensure you’re up to date on the Lafayette School District Volunteer Requirements.

Don’t forget to Register for Access to the HVPC Website. The HVPC website allows you to:

• Complete your HVPC back-to-school forms and make payments online
• Receive the weekly Highlights newsletter (emailed Sunday evenings)
• Access the HVE online family directory
• Register for school events like the Carnival and Parent Social
• Access the HVPC calendar, which includes school holidays and events
• Sign up for volunteer opportunities (Room Parent, Library Volunteer, etc.)

Finally, if you haven’t already, please check out the LPIE website.  Lafayette Partners in Education (LPIE) is a critical revenue source for our Lafayette public schools and one of the main reasons Lafayette public schools, including Happy Valley Elementary, are so exceptional.
