SAVE THE DATE! HAPPY VALLEY’S ANNUAL MUSICAL RETURNS ON NOVEMBER 15 AND 16!

 

We are pleased to announce that we will be presenting Seussical Jr. as the 2023 Happy Valley Musical this fall. Seussical Jr. is a musical comedy based on several of Dr. Seuss’s classic stories, centering mainly around Horton Hears a Who!, Gertrude McFuzz, and Horton Hatches the Egg, while incorporating many other beloved Seuss characters and storylines.  

 

 

Production Team:

We are pleased to introduce our new production team led by mother/daughter duo – Jordyn and Deena Foley!

 

Jordyn Foley: Lead Producer/Director

  • Jordyn holds a BFA in Voice Arts from the California Institute of the Arts (CalArts) and has worked with several nonprofits including the Peter Pan Foundation and Harmony and Healing. Through various professional productions and national tours, Jordyn loves to spread the joy of music and storytelling through performing and teaching children and young adults. She has performed in Film, TV, theatre and has recorded albums and voiceover projects and also teaches Drama and Music to at-risk middle school students.

 

Deena Foley: Assistant Producer/Director

  • Deena studied acting at Juilliard and at ACT in SF has been performing in theatre locally and professionally since she was a child. She has taught theatre all over the Bay Area including in the Mt. Diablo School District, JMM in Moraga, Pittsburg School District and with groups such as The Peter Pan Foundation, Kinsella Theatre Group and The El Campanil Theatre in Antioch. Deena also has extensive experience in costume design and makeup artistry.

 

Quinn Gard: Junior Producer/Director

  • Quinn fell in love with theatre from the very first performance they ever saw. They have done everything stage managing to costuming to performing to assistant directing. Theater is definitely their happy place no matter what they're doing, and they love all of it. They've recently started teaching theatre and sharing that love with kids, first in Pittsburg, then Antioch, now in Happy Valley.

 

Dariana Ross: HVPC Parent Producer

  • Dariana will serve as the liaison between the production team and the school district and school community, helping with communication to parents, insurance and theatre reservations with the school district, marketing, managing parent volunteer committees and various administrative tasks.
