   PAST EVENT RECORDINGS

Sept. 12th: Growing up in Public: Coming of Age in a Digital World

Dear LAFSD Caregivers,

On 9/12, our District Parent Education Committee (DPEC) was pleased to partner with the Orinda and Moraga School Districts to present Devorah Heitner, author of Growing Up in Public - Parenting in the Digital Age.  Close to 400 caregivers were in attendance while Dr. Heitner spoke on this important topic for our communities. For those of you unable to attend, a recording of the event may be found on our website until October 16, 2023.

Please look to your school sites for information on additional opportunities to explore parenting in the digital age. A discussion guide for the book has been provided by Dr. Heitner and it can be a helpful tool for digging deeper into this topic.  Copies of this book are available for sale at our local vendor, Reasonable Books.
